The DuroStar DS14000iX combines the high-output performance of an
open-frame generator with clean digital inverter power. Delivering up
to 14,000 peak watts, this Dual Fuel generator can operate on gasoline
or propane and is designed to keep essential household appliances,
electronics, lighting, and central air-conditioning systems powered
during an outage. Its 100% copper windings, low total harmonic

Fully Loaded Power Panel
The DS14000iX power panel includes two 120V 20-amp GFCI household
outlets, one 120/240V 30-amp locking outlet, and one 120/240V 50-amp
outlet. It also includes electric start, a battery-tender connection,
digital monitoring display, individual outlet breakers, a main
breaker, parallel connection, and a front-facing propane connection.

Affordable Alternative!
Bought a couple weeks ago. Live in the country and lose power frequently. Was looking at an affordable option to run an 1800 sqft home. Was about to buy the Duromax 16K inverter and this New DuroStar popped up. Thought for the price I’d give it a try. Purchased the storage cover, running cover, soft start and Gen all for half the price. Second day we had a thunder storm and lost power for 4 hours, generator ran whole house flawlessly. Wife was happy since it was 100 degrees out! So far I’m very impressed. Will probably buy a second one to run in parallel for winter since the house is all electric. Water heater and electric back up would be 14.5KW alone.

Another great generator
I upgraded from the 13000 to the 14000 inverter generator, I run a 1800 sqft on generator just as it is on utility power, 3 ton AC unit, all lighting, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, chest freezer, big refrigerator and two smaller refrigerators, and all without any issues, came in a cardboard box on a pallet, unboxing was simple, attached the wheels and rubber feet, connected the battery, filled the engine with motor oil, connected the propane tank, paired the remote and cranked it up and it ran like a champ. Only have 10 hours of break in time on it under various load, but under 50%, will change oil as recommended in the next few days. I highly recommend this generator if you have concerns about THD and/or have sensitive electronics. the price is very competitive for an inverter generator, and I like the fact it is an open frame unit, makes servicing a lot easier, but it is a little noisier than a closed unit…
